How Water Stations Ireland Ltd collects, uses and protects your information. Last updated 9 October 2026.
1. Who we are
This website is run by Water Stations Ireland Ltd, Dublin, D03 C5X4. We supply and install smart outdoor water stations and bottle-filling stations for councils, Tidy Towns groups, schools, sports and golf clubs and businesses across Ireland. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

2. What we collect and why
Enquiry form. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number, business or organisation name and your message. We use this only to reply to you, prepare a quote and follow up on your enquiry. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
Email and phone. If you email or call us, we use your details to deal with your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to supply and install your water station.
Spam protection. Our form uses Google reCAPTCHA to stop automated spam. reCAPTCHA checks your device and how you use the page, and Google receives information such as your IP address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping our forms secure.
Map and fonts. Our water station map loads map files from amCharts, and some text styles load from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to these services to load them, which shares your IP address with them.
Website analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited and whether someone sends an enquiry. We do not use this to identify you. The legal basis is your consent.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We only share it with the service providers we need to run the business and this website:
- Our website provider and hosting company, who host the website and its email.
- Google, for reCAPTCHA, Google Fonts and, with your consent, Google Analytics.
- amCharts, which supplies the map on our Water Station Map page.
- Our local agents, only where needed to quote for or install a water station in your area.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved under EU law, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 12 months if they do not lead to an order. If you order from us, we keep the related records for as long as Irish tax and accounting law requires, normally six years. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details above. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We only use necessary cookies by default. Analytics cookies, and the WooCommerce cookies that record how you found us, are set only if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie button in the bottom corner of the page.
